Installation Instructions for WJK Rail Clips
For use of the WJK welded rail press: Steel plates need to be pre-embedded for foundation construction. The 3 sides of the base are welded to the pre-embedded steel plates. The upper cover is placed against the edge of the rail. Bolts and the shaft are adjusted to control pressure and tightness. Install one set on each side of the rail. The rail needs to be fixed with a pair of rail clamps every 600mm or 500mm.
Tightening Torque
- Q ≤ 275t: 150N.m
- Heavy duty cranes: 220N.m
Maximum side load: 45KN
Welding Requirements
- Rail clamp base is made of weldable grade steel Q345
- Use low hydrogen electrodes (Recommended: E4315, E5015)
- Two-side welding for A4-A5 medium duty cranes
- Three-side welding for A6-A7 (A8) heavy duty cranes
Installation Spacing
- Q ≤ 275t: 600mm spacing
- Q > 275t: 500mm spacing
